Company History

1977 The first Suzuka company in Taiwan was established, beginning its course in mass producing building materials. Suzuka Chemical Co. Ltd was built in Nantou on a 12,000 sqm. landscape with 5,000 sqm. used for a build-up plant.

Due to the high demand of Suzuka's texture coating in the Japanese market, the quality of the products was certified by the JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard) in Japan.

1985 Suzuka Chemical Co. Ltd. began its secondary expansion into the Taiwanese market. Once again, the products received impressive feedback, thus making Suzuka one of the leading products in the market.

1995 Aside from having already fulfilled the quality standards (CNS) in Taiwan as well as gained quality approval from the Quality Control Unit of the government years ago, Suzuka Chemical Co. Ltd. also became certified by the approval of the ISO 9002 International.

1997 Due to the high market demands in Southeast Asia, Suzuka expanded to Malaysia. Setting up manufacturing base in Klang, Selangor D.E. through foreign direct investment, in November 1997, Suzukacoat (M) Sdn. Bhd. was officially registered as a local company.

Receiving the full support & trust from the customers in Malaysia, the company gained major government projects such as the Putrajaya & Cyberjaya Projects.

2001 Due to a significant increase in the demand of the products from China, Suzuka expanded once again. Operation of the Suzuka International Ltd. (Shanghai, China) was established, located on a 17,000 sqm. landscape with 5000 sqm. used for a build-up plant.

Also, Suzukacoat (M) Sdn. Bhd. (Malaysia) was awarded ISO 9002.
2003 Within two years of operation in Shanghai, due to rapid business growth, Suzuka International Ltd. expanded the plant up to 10,000 sqm., doubling its size.

Meanwhile, in the same year, Suzukacoat (M) Sdn. Bhd. (Malaysia) launched its second core business - trading artificial stone veneer, imported from overseas.

2004 Suzukacoat (M) Sdn. Bhd. (Malaysia) set up its second manufacturing plant - this time, producing its own artificial stone veneer. It was titled Kastone. The plant began its very first operation at the end of the year in Klang, Selangor.

Shortly after, due to impressive market responses, Suzukacoat (M) Sdn. Bhd. successfully built up its artificial stone veneer supply chain throughout Malaysia.

2006 Suzukacoat (M) Sdn. Bhd. advanced their involvement in the construction supply as well as developed an export market. Kastone had already become one of the leading suppliers in Malaysia.

2007 Suzuka Kastone successfully exported the Kastone product to numerous countries, such as Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Cambodia, West Africa, The United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia & Australia.

2011 After finding a larger location in Klang (Malaysia) to suit Suzuka's increasing production, Suzuka built & moved to a new site. With 21,000 sqm. of land & 11,000 sqm. used for a build-up, plenty of space was made for both the manufacturing of texture coating & stone veneer.

Furthermore, aside from triumphing in production & sales, Suzuka created & fulfilled a new goal: increasing their involvement & building a closer relationship with their customers, meeting all the clients' needs regarding not only the installation, but also the application & maintenance of Suzuka products.
